nClinical manifestations

Øincubation period : 1 – 7 days

Øprodromal symptoms

vonset acute

vfever, headache, vomiting, chills

vwhite strawberry tongue

                     Øeruption :

                              vred, punctate, finely papular

                                 vblanches on pressure

                              vaxillae, groins, neck  24 hr

          nTreatment :

                    Øpenicillin

                    Øerythromycin

                    Øclindamycin

                    Ø1st generation cephalosporins
